A family of three, with homes on the Upper East Side and in the Hamptons, needs to hire an experienced, developmentally focused Nanny to provide attentive, nurturing care for an infant and grow alongside their family. Responsibilities include all aspects of infant care: maintaining and supporting daily routines, preparing bottles and food, diapering, tracking developmental milestones, creating engaging age-appropriate activities, planning educational outings, facilitating sensory play, maintaining children’s spaces and belongings and child-related laundry. As the family may grow in the future, candidates with experience caring for multiple children of varying ages (including infants, toddlers, and school-aged children) are strongly preferred. A minimum of five years’ experience is required and college degree is highly preferred, as is additional experience in education, child development, or a related field. Candidates must be up to date on basic vaccines, able to swim, and comfortable living in for the summers. A valid driver’s license is a plus. Given the family’s immediate need and with the start being in the Hamptons and living in, they are open to several arrangements, including a temporary summer nanny or a long-term nanny who is comfortable beginning the position with the summer season before transitioning to Manhattan after Labor Day. Schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:30am–6:30pm. Salary range: $30–35/hr. plus a monthly health insurance stipend. Immediate start.
